The Academy, being the prime instuitute in the field of Educational Planning and Management(EPM) and has been collaborated with international agencies: UNESCO, IIEP, IBE, WB, ADB, UNICEF, UNDP, HIID(Harvard) for carrying out various training programs as well as research projects.
 

  Now the Academy has launched its "International Cooperation Program" under which Training, Research, EMIS and Documentation activities would be undertaken jointly by sharing the resources on mutual reciprocal basis. The Academy will welcome and extend full cooperation in this context.

Educational Leadership and Institutional Management
Academy of Educational Planning and Management has fulfilled long awaited desire of the educational community to serve as Staff College, like other departments. It has succeeded in obtaining new charter, which categorically spells out its role as Staff College for officers of education departments and institutions. Accordingly, AEPAM initiated a project proposal on Educational Leadership and Institutional Management (ELIM), which has been approved by the competent authority. The major areas of the program focuses professional growth of educational managers with particular reference to educational planning and management, administration, supervision, financial management, office management, personal management, school organization, community participation, and computer literacy. Initially this program includes educational managers of ICT, AJK, FATA, FANA and C & G.

   ICT for Science Teachers Project


 

Information Communication and Technology for Science Teachers of ICT, FATA and FANA
AEPAM has initiated a training program on ICT for science teachers of Islamabad, FATA and FANA. This basic training program in Information Communication Technology (ICT) for science teachers offers oriention with computer skills. Use of these skills will benefit their teaching learning process. It will also enhance their professional competency, which will have a positive impact on the learning of students.
Objectives of the program are as follows:
- To orientate with the fundamental components and operational capabilities of a computer system.
- To acquaint with the scope of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in education.
- Introduce them to the functions and applications of word-processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, and internet.
- To provide handson experience in practical usage of Software packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point).

Financial Management for Good Governance

Objectives :
- To create a pool of well trained Female Education Managers in Financial management at secondary school level
