Educational Management Information System
The Fed EMIS is responsible for collecting, processing and
analyzing educational data related to ICT. The Fad EMIS
is required to make available educational data to MOE policy-makers
and planners for the creation of policy options, projections
and diagnostic purposes. Furthurmore, Fad EMIS is responsible
for giving easy access to educational data and documentation
of school data to the NEMIS and other agencies interested
in educational planning and evaluation in Pakistan.

FANA:
NAEMIS is a computer based
information system at the Directorate of Education
Northern Areas prior to 1998 data was directly collected
by AEPAM, however after 1998 the NAEMIS became operational
and the following tasks were performed.

NAEMIS
has been a major catalyst of Directorate of Education
NAS which monitors
and manage Primary and Secondary education services
in NAS. Directorate of education aims to improve the
quality and quantity of primary education strive to
improve access of the community to Primary and Secondary
Education and working hard for providing equity based
primary education to every citizen of NAS. |

Objectives of NAEMIS
1.To provide accurate and timely information for planners
and decision makers.
2.To improve the quality of education while using
NAEMIS information
3.Education community and ensuring their equate table

4.Holding Seminars and workshops to improve the skills
of Personnel of education Department
5.Creating awareness about the important of NAEMIS
among the community and different stake holders.

School Census:
NEMIS established maintain and updates educational
database of all the schools. (Govt. and Private) in
NAS annually. The tools used is a slandered questioners.
the number of items in the questioners varies annually,
however the most recent questioner used was consisting
of 30 items and 7 categories.
